The following are articles from older iterations of my website and blogs in the past, which I’ve chosen to keep for one reason or another. This stuff ranges all the way from 2009 back to 1998, so the quality may vary wildly and I can’t guarantee that any of it is even worth looking at in the first place. With that disclaimer aside, I humbly present:

Djarum kreteks review — A somewhat biased but mostly fair review of four different types of Djarum kretek cigarettes; Black, Special, Cherry, and Vanilla.

SimCity 4 Regions — So far, the only regions I have available for SimCity 4 are ones I modified slightly to change the size of the cities. Given my love of sprawling metropolis-like cities, a little poking initially allowed me to replace the region grid with a 4×4 block of the largest-sized city blocks. After some more experimentation, I made a couple of regions that are actually larger than what the game will let you create by default.

Doom II WADs — A couple of PWADs for modern Doom II clients which support features such as MIDI, designed for multiplayer action.

PHP/LJ Link Code — It can be a pain to make [info]gravecat-style links to LiveJournals on other websites if you’re not actually using an LJ, and writing the code by hand each time is just annoying. Enter my little link code segment, which does the hard work for you.

The Smoothie Experiment — A horrible, horrible attempt at making bizarre and unusual smoothies, with predictably dire consequences.

The Adventures of Erro & Tygaar — A Star Wars Galaxies saga, starring yours truly and a fuzzy compatriot. What was intended to be a fairly normal fishing trip to the Sarlacc Pit took a turn for the worse, and we ended up fishing in lava, interrupting a Jedi battle, and pestering a squad of Stormtroopers.

“Crazy Cats” ASCII Art — The only thing to remain from my very first website (circa 1998), a collection of ASCII-art cats originally based on a similar set of ASCII cows someone sent me years ago. Some of the jokes kinda suck, but I’m still quite proud of this lot.
