• Nu Pogodi — The Russian equivalent of Tom and Jerry, featuring a chain-smoking wolf and a rabbit of disturbingly uncertain gender.
• Old Spice Odor Blocking Body Wash — You thought the one with the horse was crazy? These ones take crazy to the next level. Check out the channel, there’s half a dozen more with the scary shouting guy.
• Standing Cat — Standing Cat has to be seen to be believed. Standing Cat is the best thing on the planet right now. Oh, and here’s an amusing edit.
• 8-Bit Dr. Horrible — Do I even need to say anything about this one? Surely, the name should say it all. :)
• Indie Man — Defending independent games by sabotaging major game studios!
• What Cats Are Really Thinking — A surprisingly well-done dub, showing what cats really think when you baby-talk to them.
• Thinking About Your Axe Wound — If this one doesn’t make you giggle like a schoolchild, then you’re clearly too mature to be reading this blog.
• Scarface School Play — Normally I despise children, but there’s something charming about this school play of Scarface. Say hello to my lil’ friend!
• Cake Flushing with Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, and Edgar Wright — “I’ve never flushed a cake before and I thought it might be nice.”
• Nature By Numbers — A rather charming animation showing how fundamental mathematical principles occur all the time in nature.
• Adventures of the League of STEAM — Anyone who is a fan of steampunk will adore this series, following the adventures of a bumbling group of steampunk scientists.
• The Stallion — An amusing cartoon short about a bad-tempered, alcoholic rabbit, and a horse with… well, you’ll see.
• Wrath of the Lich King, Casino Royale style — Again, the name says it all! There’s a few weak points and it’s better at the beginning than the end, but it’s overall quite impressive.

Yes, yes, try to contain your excitement.

• Somewhat Surprised Kitty — A parody of the Surprised Kitten, this one just doesn’t seem to manage anything beyond mild, uninterested surprise.
• Simon’s Cat: Snow Business — Anyone who has not yet been exposed to Simon’s Cat is seriously missing out, and the latest in the series does not disappoint.
• The Sims Horror Movie — “They won’t let me eat… they won’t let me sleep…” Yeah, this is pretty much exactly how I (and likely many others) play The Sims too.
• Green Man, Blue Cat — Once again, The Onion hits close to the mark with a rundown of the latest in a children’s book series that is wildly popular with adults.
• Tacos Exploding In Slow Motion — If the name alone doesn’t make you want to see this, then there is something wrong with you. Something very wrong with you.
• Maru’s Magic Show — Japan’s favourite cat, Maru, pleases the world once again with his entertaining little trick. Such a dumb, adorable feline.
• Damnatus: The Enemy Within — A remarkably well-made fan production of Warhammer 40,000 in eleven parts, German but with English subtitles.
• The Adventures of Lil Cthulhu — Lovecraftian horror turned into a childrens’ cartoon? You’d better believe it!
• Ferret Dance: A Series of Tubes — I’m really not sure what I could say about this one, other than it’s an adorable animation involving everyone’s favourite tube-rats.
• Cardboard — Eerie yet fascinating stop-motion animation involving numerous cardboard cut-out monsters making their way around a city.
• Post-It Note Atari — And one more stop-motion, this time dozens of post-it notes being used to simulate various old-school Atari games.
• Witch Hunt — The biggest pile of “what the fuck” I’ve seen in a while; looks like bizarre Garry’s Mod style dickery with GTA4.

• Determine your religion with BACON! — A tongue-in-cheek yet oddly fitting flow-chart to determine what religion you should follow, based on the number of gods, your mental state, and your personal opinion of bacon.
• How to tell if you are being boring — Much like Ronseal, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Essential advice for both boring people everywhere, and more importantly, boring people who think they’re god’s gift to conversation. Yeah, you know who you are.
• Eureqa discovers equations — While likely not of interest to those who don’t find mathematics interesting, this software — which, given a series of data, attempts to reverse-engineer the formula used to create the data in the first place, thereby finding patterns in the numbers — is something that would have made Max Cohen’s life a great deal easier.
• Heroes and sociopaths: Cut from the same cloth? — Both fascinating and slightly unnerving in equal measures, this article points out the curiously similar nature in personalities between extreme altruists, and sociopaths. Two sides of the same coin?
• A thanksgiving intermission — For the sake of us non-Americans — and even those Americans who understand the whole thing wrong! — this comic reveals the truth behind the thanksgiving holiday.
• How a web design goes straight to hell — What happens when a professional web designer is hired by a gibbering idiot?
• World of Warcraft player “beats the game” — A Taiwanese player has achieved the seemingly impossible, and quite literally “beaten the game” by doing everything that it’s possible to do, and he even has the badges to prove it. Extreme dedication, or someone who badly needs a new hobby?
• Cats For Gold — Want to get rid of some unwanted gold, but plain old cash just isn’t good enough? Here’s your alternative!
• Dear Esther — This is old, old news, but I wanted to give it a mention here regardless; a Half-Life 2 mod that removes the combat entirely and replaces it with a semi-randomly-generated narrative through an eerie, unnerving, and deserted (or is it?) island. Words simply cannot describe the experience; I strongly recommend everyone who owns a copy of HL2 to give it a try, it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.
